Ellie Jane Goulding, born on December 30, 1986, in Hereford England. Tracey Goulding Summers was her mother's employee at a grocery store. Arthur Goulding is the father. Goulding has three children: A sister Isabel who is older, an older brother Alex and another sister Jordan. Alex Goulding's younger brother plays bass. Goulding is also a Hereford musician. The mother of her child was a big advocate for her music as a child. She began to learn the clarinet at nine. In her teens, she began writing her first song however she didn't begin seriously pursuing songwriting till the time she was in college. Goulding's passion for electronica music began while she was studying for her education. Through MySpace Goulding was in contact with Frankmusik who was the producer of records and the two of them came up with their own version of folktronica. Crawford is also of German English French descent. The first time she was a model was in her final year of high school. Crawford began her career with the small modeling agency. It was transferred to Elite Model Management. The Elite Look of the Year competition was held in 1983, and she made it to the finals. She graduated from DeKalb High School, in the year 1984 and gained an award from Northwestern University which she attended for a single semester prior to going on to study modeling.
